The current women’s Indian team have done exceedingly well in recently and also reached the finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 before losing to host Australia.
Meanwhile, Mithali Raj was recently in the headlines when a journalist asked her who was her favourite men’s cricketer. The veteran cricketer looked irritated by the journalist to whom she replied that the men’s cricket players are not asked the same, regarding their favourite women’s player.
