He struggled initially in the one-off Test match against England failing to contribute to both innings. Shubman Gill in dazzling form in 2022
Shubman Gill has been in great form during 2022 scoring his maiden ODI century against West Indies during the third ODI at Port of Spain, Trinidad. His form in the recent past has been brilliant with a match-winning century against Karnataka in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy quarter-finals this year.
Before this match, Gill made 579 runs from 11 matches (21 innings) with 4 half-centuries to his name. His ability to hit the shot ball makes him a special batter to watch. He would look for making his form count in the second Test match to be played from 22nd December at Sher E Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.
