Wicket-keeper batsman and debutant Ishan Kishan blazed off to his maiden ODI Fifty in just 33 balls. He started his ODI career with a six and showed us glimpses of his fearless batting throughout. The debutant scored 59 runs in 42 deliveries. Before he got out he hot 8 fours and 2 sixes.
Ishan Kishan is no stranger when it comes to scoring fifties on debut. He is one of the two Indian players to score a half-century on debut in both ODI and T20I cricket. The other player to achieve this feat was Robin Uthappa.

Robin Uthappa scored 86 on his ODI debut against England while chasing. While he scored 50 against Pakistan in 2007 at Indore. Ishan Kishan scored 56 on his T20I debut against England earlier this year.
The wicket-keeper batsman is extremely talented and has displayed his aggressive approach. He played brilliant shots today and has helped India’s chase against Sri Lanka.
India on track to beat Sri Lanka
Team India is on track to beat Sri Lanka in the first ODI. India got off to a flier thanks to Prithvi Shaw’s aggressive batting upfront. He scored 43 runs in 24 balls before getting out. This included 9 boundaries.
He along with his captain Shikhar Dhawan managed to stitch a partnership of 58 runs for the first wicket. After his departure, Shikhar Dhawan was joined by the debutant Ishan Kishan who also came out all guns blazing.
Ishan Kishan smashed the bowlers around the park before departing for 59 runs. Shikhar Dhawan played responsibly and completed 6000 runs in ODI cricket. Manish Pandey and the skipper stitched together a partnership and now India is on course to win this game within 40 overs.
