Smriti Mandhana’s Quirky Reply To A Fan Asking “Love Or Arranged Marriage”

India’s opening batsman Smriti Mandhana is one of the most likeable cricketing personalities. The left-hander has gained immense popularity on and off the field. Her 49-run knock along with Indian skipper Mithali Raj’s 75-run knock helped India to win the third and the final One Day International at Worcester on July 3.

Smriti Mandhana is once again trending on social media, but this time because of an old tweet of hers. She did a #AskSmriti session last year on Twitter to interact with her fans. The hashtag received a great response, as the questions kept pouring in from all across the globe. There were several cheeky questions asked by the fans. One Twitter user asked Smriti to choose between arranged and love marriage. Her reply left everyone in splits.

India W vs England W, T20 series

Smriti Mandhana will be in action against England in the three-match T20 International series. The first T20 International will take place on July 9 at Northampton followed by the second T20 International on July 11 at the Hove. The series finale will be on July 15 at Chelmsford.

India lost the one-day international series by 2-1, recently as the team failed to put up a collective performance. Skipper Mithali Raj was the highest run-scorer in the one-day series with 206 runs in 3 matches at an average of 103.
