Six-time finalists and host Australia lock horns with the underdogs Team India on the title clash of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup on March 8 – which is also the international women's day at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. India boast a strong record at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, who in all likelihood will witness a full house with all the tickets already sold out. The women in blues had done the unthinkable four years ago when they became the first Asian side to beat Australia in a T20I series in their own backyard. They have a shot at history again, in their first-ever final appearance with millions of Indians hoping the young girls bring home the trophy.

On the eve of the final encounter, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) send his luck to the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side. Hailing the entire for their show throughout the competition in Australia, Ganguly added that they have made the country proud. 

"Good wishes to the indian women’s cricket team for the finals tomorrow .. They have made the country proud ..@BCCI," Sourav Ganguly wrote in a tweet.
