According to weather.com, the temperature of Centurion city of South Africa will be 19° Celcius on December 27 during the day and fall to 15° Celcius at night. The sky will be cloudy with heavy thunderstorms are expected to occur. The humidity will be about 93%.

The BCCI in a tweet updated that it is raining currently in Centurion. Sharing a picture, they wrote:

“It’s a rainy morning here in Centurion. We are waiting for the skies to clear up.”

India dominate day 1 riding on KL Rahul’s century

Opting to bat first, KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal seized their chance and made full use of the opportunity against an inexperienced South African seam bowling line-up. The Karnataka duo put up a century stand before the hosts bounce back with two wickets including the first-ball duck of Cheteshwar Pujara.

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul steadied the ship after that, before the former departed driving away from his body. At last Ajinkya Rahane found some form and stitched together a stand with KL Rahul, who has come a long way from his horror Boxing Day debut. Lungi Ngidi was the pick of the bowlers for South Africa, picking up all three wickets that fell on day 1.

India found themselves well-placed at 272/3 at the end of day 1 and will look to carry on the momentum on the next day.
