Ever since the beginning of the year 2021, the global esports ecosystem has witnessed some major brand deals and giant collaborations. Earlier last month, the American esports organization, Team Solo Mid announced their partnership with the online cryptocurrency exchange platform, FTX.
Team SoloMid (TSM) signed a 10-year long naming rights deal with Cryptocurrency exchange, FTX. The deal was signed for a record-breaking price tag of $210 Million American dollars ($21 Million per year for a time period of 10 years).

American Esports organisation and lifestyle brand, 100 thieves gaming announced their partnership with the luxury clothing brand, Gucci, earlier this week. Gucci is a luxury fashion house based in Florence, Italy. Their custom clothing includes a backpack which costs $2,400 US Dollars.
After Gucci, 100 thieves have added another major brand to their list of partners. They’ve announced Lexus as their official automotive partner. Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of the Japanese automaker Toyota.
The Texas-based sports and entertainment group, Spurs Sports & Entertainment announced their joining of Tribe Gaming as an investor. Tribe Gaming is an esports organization from the American region which has professional esports rosters in major mobile esports titles such as PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and etc.
Patrick “Chief Pat” Carney, the chief executive officer of Tribe gaming stated that this capital investment will open roads for multiple collaborations and many new opportunities.
This new partnership will help them dominate the esports ecosystem by implementing cross-content collabs, co-branded marketing efforts, talent, and audience crossovers, and shared strategic expertise.
“Bringing SS&E into the Tribe Gaming family is a massive milestone for our company,” said Carney. “With SS&E having achieved decades of unparalleled success in the traditional sports world, we’re excited to leverage this partnership towards building the leading mobile gaming esports organization.”
