Suresh Raina has been announced as the replacement for Rayudu for the limited overs tour of England. The announcement comes as Rayudu failed the Yo-Yo Test at NCA, Bangalore.
Raina last represented in Indian colours at the T20 series against Southafrica. This series will really be a platform to cement his spot in the ODI format of the game.
With the world cup 2019 still, a year to go, Raina will have a close eye to grab the opportunity and turn around the things in his favour.
Raina scored over 445 runs in this edition of IPL and played his role in clinching the third title for Chennai Super Kings. His domestic performances towards the end of Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy made sure to bag him the berth.
The middle order now looks threatening with the likes of Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni and Raina. It is to be noted that Raina was awarded the Man of the series award during his last tour to the British in 2014. This will surely boost his confidence before taking the field.

The series commences on July 3rd with the T20I series. England squad hasn”t been announced yet and it will be interesting how India can stun the No:1 ODI side in the world.
