Suresh Raina has named 4 experienced players from the current CSK squad who can lead Chennai after MS Dhoni’s exit.
“Rayudu is there then you have Robin Uthappa then DJ Bravo is there. Jadeja, I think, has a good cricketing brain and has been performing well recently,” said Raina while speaking to Star Sports.
Suresh Raina went unsold in the IPL 2022 auctions. It should be noted that Raina is the only other player apart from Dhoni who has led CSK. Under Raina, Chennai has played 6 matches. Raina has scored the most no. of runs for CSK (5529) in the history of the IPL.
CSK will start their IPL 2022 campaign on March 26 in the season opener against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Suresh Raina to make commentary debut in IPL 2022
Fans would see ‘Mr IPL’- Suresh Raina in a new avatar as he would be a part of the Hindi commentary panel of Star Sports for IPL 2022. Former India head coach Ravi Shastri will make a comeback in the commentary box.
He will also join the Hindi commentary team. Bombay Hindi (Bambaiya Hindi) of Ravi Shastri will be a delight for the fans to listen to.
