Suryakumar Yadav has been setting the social media on fire ever since he guided Mumbai Indians to their 5th IPL title. After taking a U-turn from taking a dig to praising Virat Kohli, the Mumbai batsman has now given youngster Prithvi Shaw a hilarious nickname in his new video.
Meanwhile, Shaw is currently in Australia with Indian Cricket Team for a series across the format. Prithvi Shaw has been picked for the four-match Test series which gets underway from December 17. Meanwhile, the series will commence from November 27 with three ODIs followed the same number of T20Is.
Indian players are currently serving the mandatory 14-day quarantine period but Cricket Australia has arranged for outdoor training of the visitors. The players are leaving no stone unturned and are gearing up for the high-profile series. Opener Prithvi Shaw was seen sweating it out alongside skipper Virat Kohli in an open nets session on Tuesday.
Suryakumar Yadav calls Prithvi Shaw ‘chote’
The batsman from Mumbai shared a clip of batting with Kohli in the open nets as the Indian bowlers rolled their arms. The likes of Umesh Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav were seen bowling to Prithvi Shaw.
As soon as the video was uploaded, fans flooded the comments sections wishing Shaw luck for the India vs Australia 2020 tour. However, the comment that stole the show came from Suryakumar Yadav.
The Mumbai batsman wrote, ‘Chote’ along with a fire emoji and asked him to enjoy. Shaw was quick to respond as he wrote, ‘Bade’ with a fire emoticon. The banter between the two left fans in splits.
