T Natarajan Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery, Thanks BCCI

Indian pacer T Natarajan was ruled out of IPL 2021 with a knee injury. On Tuesday afternoon, the Tamil Nadu cricketer had his successful and thanked the BCCI and the medical staff for taking full care of him during the process. Natarajan played just one game in IPL 2021 after which he was ruled out of the season.

T Natarajan thanked the entire medical team, the surgeons, and the doctors for the expertise and kindness that they showed. The 30-year-old also thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and everybody who wished well for him.

“Today, I underwent knee surgery- and I am grateful for the expertise, attention, and kindness of the medical team, surgeons, doctors, nurses, and staff. I’m grateful to BCCI and to all that have wished well for me,” tweeted Natarajan.

BCCI Wishes T Natarajan After Successful Knee Surgery

BCCI responded to Natarajan’s tweet as well, wishing him a speedy recovery. “Wish you a speedy recovery Natarajan. We want to see you back on the field soon,” read the tweet from BCCI.

Natarajan was one of the finds in IPL 2020 where he took 16 wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad. That paved his international debut across all formats recently in Australia in end of 2020.

Thangarasu Natarajan has featured in 1 Test, 2 ODIs, and 4 T20Is for India. He has picked up 3 wickets each in Test and ODI cricket and has scalped 7 wickets in the T20I format of the game. Natarajan has also played 24 matches in the IPL and picked up 20 wickets.

He was last seen on the cricket field on 14th April 2021 in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He bowled 4 overs, gave away 32 runs, and also picked up a wicket.
