Preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 are in full swing as the countdown to the event reaches just 60 days. To commemorate this milestone, additional tickets for the tournament, set to be the largest cricket spectacle ever, will be released for sale on Thursday, April 4th, at 10 a.m. ET.
A new timelapse video has been unveiled, highlighting the substantial advancements in the construction of the state-of-the-art Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. This innovative stadium, boasting a modular design with a seating capacity of 34,000, will host eight matches during the tournament.
Although demand for World Cup tickets remains high, fans can secure their spots by purchasing limited tickets for six matches at the Nassau County venue, including marquee clashes such as India versus Ireland and USA against India. Limited tickets will also be available for all four matches at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, including the opening match featuring the USA and Canada.
Construction progress at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Eisenhower Park is rapidly advancing, with the modular framework for the East Stand nearing completion and the West Stand expected to be finished within two weeks. Additionally, preparations are underway for the premium hospitality and media pavilions, as well as the outfield and pitch block.
The excitement surrounding the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup continues to build, highlighted by the recent launch of the Trophy Tour at iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building. The tour, featuring appearances by cricket legends like Chris Gayle and USA player Ali Khan, further amplifies the anticipation for the upcoming tournament.
