The second match of Super 12 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is going on between defending champions West Indies against England at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

West Indies had the worst start they had ever expected. England restricted them to just 55 in 14.2 overs. Adli Rashid bowled his career-best spell as he gave only 2 runs in 2.2 overs and took 4 big wickets including big explosive batters Kiron Pollard and Andre Russell.

At the moment, England is batting and have already scored 32 runs in 5 overs losing 2 wickets. They look comfortable to be victorious in this match keeping Net Run Rate (NRR) in mind as it can be a deciding factor for the qualification scenarios.

On that note, we took at how Twitter reacted to the Worst West Indies collapse against the in-form England cricket team today at the Dubai International Stadium.

In reply, England took just 8.2 overs to chase down the target. Jos Buttler remained unbeaten on 24 runs to chase down the target well ahead. West Indies tried to bounce back with some extraordinary efforts on the field but there was nothing for the bowlers to bowl at. Akeal Hosein picked up 2/24 from his four overs.

Moeen Ali was awarded the player of the match for his spectacular bowling effort. He said:

“(The catch) I just stuck my hands out and you like holding onto catches like that. It gave me confidence and settled my nerves a little bit. Obviously helps when there are so many left-handers. I wasn’t as nervous because I have been playing cricket. I think the role in the CSK team is very good. I feel I am always involved and it was good playing in those big games before the World Cup.”
