Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has been the talk of the town this season. Whether it”s the on-field performances or starring in events and commercials off the field, the superstar batsman is shining on every front.
Recently another Bollywood celebrity was in awe of the Indian skipper, “Secret superstar” actress Zaira Wasim is latest in the long list of Kohli admirers. Zaira who was applauded by one and all for her stupendous debut performance in the mega movie “Dangal” was in attendance along with Aamir Khan during the 3rd T20I between India and Australia which was unfortunately washed out by the rain Gods.
When asked about her favorite cricketer, she replied, “I am in awe of Virat Kohli, and who is not?”
Young Zaira who is just 17-year-old is also the Youth Ambassador for the marathon starting from December 16 to 17 unveiled the theme for this year “Run to BEneFIT’.
Along with Kohli, Zaira also told the reporters at the announcement of the 11th edition of ‘Bengaluru Midnight Marathon 2017’ that Mary Kom is her favorite sportswomen and she would love to play her role in a movie if provided an opportunity.
“I am in love with Mary Kom ever since I have been involved with the Rotary Club. She is my favorite,”
On the query about her future, she said, “I don’t plan my future. I believe in destiny. I have realized in last three years, that whatever you plan, it does not materialize because destiny has its own plans’’.
Zaira Wasim caught masses attention in India with her debut film Dangal, which is one of the highest grosser films of all-time.
