The Men in Blue secured a 17-run win, entering the Super 8 stage with a flawless record in the tournament.
Aryan Dutt troubled Team India early on, dismissing Abhishek Sharma for a duck in the first over and soon after getting Ishan Kishan out as well. The off-spinner finished with impressive figures of 2-19, emerging as the standout bowler. However, his efforts were cut short during the chase when Varun Chakaravarthy sent him back for a golden duck.
Arshdeep Singh, making a comeback after missing the game against Pakistan, bowled three economical overs, conceding 22 runs without taking a wicket. Aryan Dutt, who developed his cricketing skills in Chandigarh as a youngster, met with Arshdeep Singh after the game, and the two swapped jerseys.
