Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya celebrated his girlfriend Mahieka Sharma’s 25th birthday on Thursday, February 19, by posting a romantic picture on social media. Hardik had last played on Wednesday, February 18, during India’s final Group A clash against the Netherlands at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The 32-year-old contributed 30 runs off 21 balls, hitting three sixes, and picked up 1/40 in his three-over spell as the Men in Blue secured a 17-run win after posting 193. To honour Mahieka’s special day, Hardik shared a photo with her on his Instagram stories, adding a heartfelt caption.

“Happy birthday my princess.”

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya is scheduled to return to the field on Sunday, February 22, when the Men in Blue take on Aiden Markram’s South Africa in their first Super 8 Group 1 match in Ahmedabad.

In the thrilling clash against the Netherlands, Hardik Pandya contributed 30 crucial runs, surpassing the 6000-run milestone in T20 cricket. This remarkable feat made him the first Indian cricketer to achieve the rare double milestone of over 6000 runs and more than 200 wickets in T20 matches.

Across his T20 career, Hardik has played 323 matches, scoring 6,008 runs at an average of 29.89 with a strike rate of 144.04, including 25 fifties. With the ball, the right-arm pacer has taken 222 wickets at an average of 28.06, a strike rate of 20.0, and an economy of 8.41, with best figures of 5/36.

In T20 Internationals, Hardik has featured in 133 games for India, scoring 2,158 runs at an average of 28.02 and a strike rate of 144.92, including eight half-centuries and a top score of 71 not out. He has also picked up 110 wickets at an average of 26.48, a strike rate of 19.1, and an economy of 8.27, with best bowling figures of 4/16.
