The 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier Schedule has been Announced; Full Details Here

The schedule of the Asia Cup 2018 has been announced today. Six teams including Nepal, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE and Hong Kong will take part in the tournament.

This tournament will take place from August 29th to 6th September in 3 venues of Malaysia. The top two teams would qualify for the finals and winner of the tournament will join India and Pakistan in the main tournament.

India, Pakistan and winner of qualifier comprise of Group A while Group B comprising of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. This tournament will be played in 50 over format. It will be played on round robin basis. This is a great chance for nations like Nepal, Oman, UAE and Hong Kong to perform well and compete with Asia’s best.

India is currently defending Champions of Asia Cup. They won the tournament held in 20 overs format due to World T20 tournament. United Nations Arab Emirates qualified for 2016 edition.

  1. Malaysia vs. Hong Kong ( Kinara Academy Oval, Bandar Kinara)- 29th August
  2. Nepal vs. Oman ( Bayuemas Oval, Pandamaran)- 29th August
  3. United Arab Emirates vs. Singapore ( UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi)- 29th August

Round 2

  1. United Arab Emirates vs. Nepal (Kinara Academy Oval, Bandar Kinara)- 30th August
  2. Hong Kong vs. Singapore (Bayuemas Oval, Pandamaran)- 30th August
  3. Malaysia vs. Oman (UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi)- 30th August

Round 3

  1. Oman vs. Singapore (Kinara Academy Oval, Bandar Kinara)- 1st September
  2. Malaysia vs. Nepal ( Bayuemas Oval, Pandamaran)- 1st September
  3. UAE vs. Hong Kong (UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi)- 1st September

Round 4

  1. Hong Kong vs. Oman (Kinara Academy Oval, Bandar Kinara)- 2nd September
  2. Malaysia vs. UAE (Bayuemas Oval, Pandamaran)- 2nd September
  3. Nepal vs. Singapore (UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi)- 2nd September
