At the same time, cricket enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the debut of India’s official T20 World Cup uniform. Adidas, the official kit sponsor for BCCI, has been designing distinct kits for ODIs and T20Is.
The ODI attire features a collared design with tiger stripes, while the T20I uniform embodies the Ashoka Chakra, a symbol of India, positioned in the center. Both jerseys feature shoulder stripes.
Lately, a picture circulated widely on social media, purportedly revealing India’s attire for the imminent ICC flagship tournament. The supposed leak displays the jersey featuring tricolour stripes on a v-shaped neckline, accompanied by the customary Adidas stripes on saffron sleeves.

If this indeed turns out to be the authentic jersey, it would be seen as a significant blunder on the part of both BCCI and Adidas, as jersey reveals typically generate anticipation and excitement. This caused a frenzy on social media. In response to the image, one fan commented, “Not good.”
Meanwhile, one fan described it as a ‘practice kit’, while another labelled it as “awful”.
Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the ICC tournament, with Rishabh Pant making his international comeback. The Delhi Capitals skipper, who missed over a year of cricket due to a bizarre car accident, has been named in the 15-player squad.
