The tough times for Ambati Rayudu doesn”t seem to heal so early. He had a successful stint with Chennai Super Kings this season as he was the leading run scorer for the champion side.

As a result of his blistering performances, he was named in the England limited-overs squad. But things didn”t go in his way as Ambati Rayudu failed the Yo-Yo Test at NCA, Bengaluru.

Ambati Rayudu hasn”t even made it to the recent squads announced by BCCI for the domestic tournaments. Duleep Trophy, India A and India B squads were released a few days back.

Reports suggest that the right-handed batsman Ambati Rayudu hadn”t appeared for the Yo-Yo Test within the time limit given by the BCCI. If they are to be believed, he was given a time limit of six weeks but his absence played a role in “sacking” him.

Ambati Rayudu accompanied the CSK junior squads for limited overs at England and received accolades for his successful guidance.

Sources close to BCCI  confirmed that Rayudu has requested a  two week time period before giving another go at the Yo-Yo Test.
