The game of cricket can go in any team’s favor if a cricketer makes even a slight mistake. Also there a cricketer who can change the game within just one over and hand victory to their team. While thinking about such players the one cricketer who comes to everybody’s mind is Shahid Afridi. The Pakistan all-rounder was an impactful player and was an important member of the Pakistan team.
Afridi came into international cricket in 1996 and he didn’t get the opportunity to bat in his first ODI match. However, when he played his first-ever ODI innings he blew everyone’s mind. Shahid Afridi ran through the Kenya bowling unit and scored the fastest ODI century, he also held the record for a very long time.
When Afridi was asked about the cricketers he enjoyed watching, he mentioned and applauded Inzamam-Ul-Haq and Saeed Anwar alongside some other names. Stating his opinions on the Cricketers in interaction with Khelo Aazadi Se Show on BSports Pakistan YouTube Channel he asserted:
“If we talk about my initial years, Inzamam Ul Haq and Saeed Anwar used to fascinate me. To follow their game, the heard wanted to sit in front of the TV and watch them. I fulfilled my dream when I started playing with them. If you talk about players from other countries, there was Brian Lara and Glenn McGrath.”
