The 2nd T20I between India and Sri Lanka has already begun at the MCA stadium in Pune. India won the toss and Captain Hardik Pandya opted to field first in this game. Sri Lanka has already gotten off to a good start courtesy of the half-century scored by Kusal Mendis which included three fours and four maximums. But the headline of the game till now is the comeback man Arshdeep Singh who missed out on the previous one due to an illness.
In his first over he bowled three consecutive no-balls making him the bowler with maximum no-balls surpassing Hassan Ali in a mere 22 T20IS. The free hits were utilised well by Kusal Mendis who scored both a six and a four on them. Arshdeep gave away 19 runs in his first over.
Let’s take a look at some Twitter reactions to Arshdeep Singh’s three no-balls in the innings up till now:

Arshdeep now has bowled most no balls in T20I history surpassing Hassan Ali's 11 previously. Not a good record to have to your name after playing just 22 games.#ArshdeepSingh #INDvsSL #CricketTwitter

At the end of the 10-over mark, the visitors scored 89-2 with Yuzvendra Chahal and Umran Malik dismissing Kusal Mendis and Bhanuka Rajapaksa respectively giving the men in blue the necessary breakthrough.Â
India made two changes to their playing 11 from the previous T20I. The wait for the much-awaited debut of Rahul Tripathi has come to an end as he was given his India cap before the start of the game by batting coach Vikram Rathour.
He replaced Sanju Samson who has been ruled out from the remainder of the T20I series due to an injury while taking a catch in the first T20I at the Wankhede stadium off Hardik Pandya’s bowling. Also, Harshal Patel has been replaced by left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh.Â
