Team India batter Tilak Varma recently ran into Telugu and Bollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda on a flight. The 22-year-old took a photo with the actor and shared it on his official social media on January 14. Tilak has been in excellent form with Team India.
In their recent match against South Africa, he became the second batter after Sanju Samson to score centuries in consecutive T20I matches. The Mumbai Indians all-rounder was named Player of the Series for his key role in India’s 3-1 win over South Africa in the four-match T20I series.
Tilak shared the moment with Vijay Deverakonda on Instagram Stories, captioning the photo:

Tilak Varma will play for Team India in the upcoming T20I series against England
Team India has announced a 15-member squad for their upcoming T20I series against England, with Tilak Varma included after his standout performances in the T20I series against South Africa in November 2024. The series will feature five exciting matches, starting at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on January 22.
The final match will be held on February 2 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, promising intense competition. After the T20I series, India and England will play a three-match ODI series, beginning on February 6 and concluding on February 12, as part of their preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The squad includes Suryakumar Yadav (Captain), Sanju Samson (Wicketkeeper), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel (Vice-Captain), Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammad Shami, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, and Dhruv Jurel (Wicketkeeper).
Mohammad Shami returns to the squad after more than a year due to an ankle injury, while Rishabh Pant is absent. Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel are the designated wicketkeepers for the series.
