5. Mahela Jayawardene (1997- 2015, Sri Lanka)
Mahela Jayawardene has scored a total of 54 centuries in International cricket comprising of 34 test, 19 ODI, and 1 T20Icenturies. He made his test, ODI and T20Idebut on 2 August 1997 vs. India, 24 January 1998 vs. Zimbabwe and 15 June 2006 vs. England respectively. He is applauded as a master of playing spin bowling and is one of the few batsmen to have a batting average over 50 in tests and 30 in ODIs. He has scored a total of 25957 runs across all the formats. He played his last test, ODI and T20Ion 14 August 2014 vs. Pakistan, 18 March 2015 vs. South Africa and 6 April 2015 vs. India respectively. His highest score of 374 against South Africa is the highest individual score by a right handed batsman in the history of International test cricket.
