Hardik Pandya is fast becoming a trusted batsman for team India at number 6 in ODI cricket. The hard-hitting all-rounder once again performed in difficult circumstances in the final ODI against Australia. Twitter was buzzing after he notched up another half-century in the ODI series. At one stage India was hoping to get a total around 260 runs but a late flourish from Pandya and Jadeja propelled them over 302 runs.
Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten on 92 which he made in mere 76 deliveries The 27-year-old showed amazing skills and temperament and again enhanced his reputation as a specialist batsman. Before the series, a lot of critics believed that Manish Pandey should bat at number 6 if Pandya is not contributing as an all-rounder.

Hardik scored a classy 80 in the first ODI at SCG and now again stood tall for India and smashed 92* in quick time. Interestingly Hardik Pandya ends the 3 match ODI series with the most runs for India. After his heroics in this series, Pandya has silenced his doubters in style as he has been the biggest positive for the visitors of the Australian tour so far. He may have missed 2 ODI centuries in the last 3 matches but the signs are positive for India as he goes from strength to strength.
