Krunal Pandya showed his ability with the bat in his debut ODI for India against England at Pune. From the time he got his debut cap, Krunal looked determined to do well and give a tribute to his late father. The all-rounder came out to bat at a very crucial stage in the Indian innings as they needed a partnership to score more than 300 runs. Krunal joined KL Rahul and teed off from the first ball as he gave much needed late impetus to the Indian batting.

The Southpaw reached his fifty in just 26 deliveries and along with KL Rahul took India’s total to 317 runs after the conclusion of 50 overs. Krunal scored 58 runs in mere 31 runs at a strike rate of 187.10 and his splendid knock included 7 boundaries and 2 sixes.
