Twitterati React and Virat Kohli is truly back as he scored his 46th ODI century in the 3rd match of the series played at Greenfield Stadium, Thirvanthupram on 15 January 2023.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma began cautiously before putting enough pressure on the Sri Lankan bowlers. Both kept the scoreboard ticking with boundaries at regular intervals.

Kohli came to the crease and looked in sensational touch right from the word go hitting 3 boundaries in the first six deliveries. He showed his intent to keep the scoreboard ticking along with Shubman Gill. It was a superb batting display as Kohli kept scoring easily taking singles and hitting boundaries off bad deliveries.

Shubman Gill scored his 2nd One-day international century off 89 balls to keep the momentum going for India. Virat Kohli looked impressive completing his half-century off 48 balls. After completing his fifty, King Kohli upped the ante keeping the pressure on the Lankan bowling. He kept picking gaps easily and made sure that India looked good for a massive total. Kohli completed his 46th ODI century off 85 balls. He also completed his 74th international century.

Kohli surpassed Mahela Jayawardene to become the 5th leading run-getter in the One-day international format. He then increased the tempo of scoring with big shots keeping the momentum going against toothless Sri Lankan bowling. Kohli scored his 45th ODI century against Sri Lanka in the first ODI match in Guwahati.

King Kohli and Twitterati React made the batting look easy on a good batting pitch at Trivandrum. He displayed an array of strokes after completing his century and just toyed with Lankan bowling. It was an exceptional knock by Kohli reaching 150 off 106 balls. He remained not out on 166 off 110 balls with 13 fours and 8 sixes that helped India to reach a massive total of 390 for 5 in 50 overs.
