Veteran batter Virat Kohli’s batting brilliance was on display against Sri Lanka in the third and final ODI on Sunday, January 15 at the Greenfield International Stadium, in Thiruvananthapuram. He slammed his second century of the series in the match, to power India to a huge score. The right-handed batter pulled off several breathtaking shots, however, his smacking helicopter shot left the fans and the experts in awe.
In the forty-fourth over, Kasun Rajitha came on to bowl his eighth over. He bowled a slower-length ball, which Virat Kohli slammed into the long-on stands. The right-handed batter came down the track, picked up the delivery, and hit a cracking 97m six. There were shades of MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot in his follow-through.
