Team India spinner Varun Chakravarthy shared a few pictures on his X account following India’s Asia Cup 2025 triumph. The Men in Blue defeated Pakistan by five wickets in the final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 28. Interestingly, the team was not presented with the trophy immediately after the match. Instead, they celebrated with an ‘imaginary trophy’ during the post-match ceremony.

Amid the unusual situation, Chakravarthy posted a couple of photos featuring a teacup. In one image, the 34-year-old could be seen relaxing in bed with the cup. He captioned the post:

“‘Akkha duniya ek taraf, aur mere india ek taraf’ (Entire world on one side, and my India on one side) Jai hind !!!”

In the Asia Cup 2025 final, India won the toss and chose to field first. Pakistan got off to a strong start, with openers Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman putting together an 84-run partnership from 58 balls. However, India’s spin trio—Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, and Axar Patel—turned the game around, bowling Pakistan out for 146.

Kuldeep Yadav was the standout, finishing with impressive figures of 4-0-30-4. Axar Patel also impressed with 4-0-26-2, while Chakravarthy took two wickets, conceding 30 runs in his four overs. Chasing the target, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side sealed the victory in 19.4 overs.

Tilak Varma played a crucial innings under pressure, scoring an unbeaten 69 off 53 balls to guide India to a thrilling last-over win. Shivam Dube contributed a valuable 33 off 22 deliveries. Varma’s stellar performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
