Making it into the Indian dressing room is always a special feeling. The training and hard work over the years to receive this maiden call-up is a redefining moment of a cricketer”s career. The two players Deepak Chahar and Krunal Pandya who were with the A team for the triseries received surprise offers form the management after Bumrah and Washington Sundar were ruled out.

Though both of them hadn”t made it to the playing XI in the opening match of the T20I series, their presence really pumped up the energy levels in the camp. The Instagram accounts of the Indian players is really incomplete without the presence of Chahar and Krunal right now.

As a part of induction into the squad, both the players were seen giving a speech in the dressing room. Ravi Shastri was spotted in the video and the reaction of the youngsters suggested that there were many players around. Chahar said, “It”s really a great feeling to represent the senior team”. On the other hand Krunal, the elder brother of Hardik introduced himself and shared his joy of being a part of the Indian team.

It is to be noted that both of them played a champion role for their respective franchise in the Indian Premier League. Though Deepak Chahar represented RPSG in the past, he wasn”t given opportunities. This edition boosted him the confidence as a thrifty bowler and needless to say that his presence mattered the most in the Chennai Super Kings camp.

Krunal Pandya, the man behind Mumbai Indians” triumph in 2017 has been a consistent performer over the past three years. He along with his brother Hardik scripted few memorable wins for the side and it will be really interesting if he can make it to the playing XI in the coming games.

India will play their next match on Friday at Cardiff, Wales. With a very stable batting order and a threatening wrist spinning duo, India will try to seal the series.
