The new poster boy of Indian Cricket Hardik Pandya who made his maiden test century in the third test against Sri Lanka presented his dad with a car as a token gift for all the hardship he has gone through to make him and his brother shine in life.

Pandya who is now in Sri Lanka touring with the Indian Cricket Team along with his brother Krunal found a unique way to present their dad with a beautiful car. He was on a video call from the island and was assisting his dad to select a car. As Hardik’s father, Himanshu Pandya agreed to buy a red car; the manager of the showroom came forward and said, “This is your car. You are owner”.

Hardik then in a series of tweets from his official twitter account expressed how he his father’s lit up face made him cry. He also admitted how much sacrifices his father has made in order to make their career.

The cricketer from Baroda made his test debut in Sri Lanka and immediately made his presence felt on the team. He scored a brilliant fifty in the test and followed it with a magnificent hundred in the third test. He also took four wickets in this series which includes the wicket of Angelo Matthews giving the team an important breakthrough.
