The young Jharkhand captain Ishan Kishan tries to copy MS Dhoni style run out during the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarterfinals match against Maharashtra at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore during the first innings. Jharkhand captain Kishan won the toss and decided to field first.

The incident took place in the 28th over when the score was 122 for 4, Maharashtra captain Rahul Tripathi came down the track to hit a big shot off Shahbaz Nadeem bowling. Rahul Tripathi checked his shot and wanted to take single but Kishan hit the bails with MS Dhoni style run out. It was an amazing effort from Ishan Kishan. With great bowling effort, Jharkhand bowled out Maharashtra for 181 in 42.2 overs.

MS Dhoni is one of the best wicketkeepers in the world at the present moment. His quick reflexes while stumping and run outs makes him suitable for wicketkeeping job for team India in 50 over and T20 format. With him being the best person behind the stumps, other young wicketkeepers like Sanju Samson; Ishan Kishan, has not been given a chance to represent team India.

Ishan Kishan has played so far 33 first class, 34 List A and 55 T20 matches for Jharkhand. His ability to hit big shots makes him a dangerous player. In the 2018 edition of IPL, he scored 275 runs in 14 matches with a strike rate of 149.45. He could only score 2 half centuries in this edition. Mumbai Indians could not reach the knockout stages in this edition.
