The former Indian captain MS Dhoni got angry on Manish Pandey during the 2nd T20I played at Super Sports Park, Centurion yesterday night. This incident happened after Pandey took a single off the first ball off the final over. Dane Paterson was the bowler and MS Dhoni told Manish Pandey to look here and not focus on anything else.
MS Dhoni and Manish Pandey put on 98 runs in 9.2 overs which helped Men in Blue post 188 for 4 in 20 overs. Manish Pandey remained not out on 79 while Dhoni scored his second T20I half-century off his career. Team India lost 3 early wickets of Rohit Sharma, Dhawan and Captain Virat Kohli. Suresh Raina and Manish Pandey steadied the innings with 45 runs partnership for the 4th wicket. MS Dhoni and Manish Pandey smashed South African bowlers in death overs to post a competitive total of 188.
South Africa chased down the target of 189 in 18.4 overs. Klassen played a match-winning knock scoring 69 off 30 balls and also JP Duminy played a captain’s knock off 64 runs to level the series at 1-1. The final and deciding match of the T20I series will be played on 24th February 2018 at Cape Town.
MS Dhoni came at number 5 and played few balls before smashing the South African bowlers. The former Indian captain reached his half-century off 27 balls. It was an amazing knock by MS Dhoni who was criticized for not coming up the order. Manish Pandey also played a crucial role in the second T20I by scoring 79 runs.
