There is nothing sweeter for a father when his daughter calls him “Dad!” for the first time.
Well, Suresh Raina posted a video which shows what kind of bond he shares with his daughter.
On ocassion of Father”s day, Raina shared a video in which his daughter Gracia called him “Papa”. Raina tweeted, “Love being a dad! The #EarlyMomentsMatter so be a #BaapWaliBaat & talk to your baby!
Raina missed his first IPL match in 2016 to be with his pregnant wife in Holland at the time of his daughter”s birth. He has a record of playing 143 IPL matches on a trot. His daughter Gracia was born on 14 May 2016 in Netherlands.
“Every moment is special with Gracia. She is a jolly baby. She tries copying the dance moves she sees on baby TV channels. I love to be a part of that with her,” he told Economic Times. “I love it when she falls asleep on my chest. It’s my most peaceful and happy moment,” he added.
The left hander has lost his place from the Indian ODI side. He was the lone warrior in Gujarat Lions” otherwise dismal IPL 2017 campaign. India have got some important cricketing assignments coming up in later part of the year including tour to Sri Lanka, an ODI series against Australia at home and a tour to South Africa and Raina will be looking to make a comeback as soon as possible to make this season count.
