West Indies side has reached India for the all-format tour commencing October 4. With their new coach Stuart Law, the camp is hoping for a change in fortunes as they can finetune the side before World Cup 2019.

The players received a traditional Indian welcome in the hotel at Vadodara. The official Twitter handle of West Indies cricket has released a video for the same. The players were seen enjoying the music beats and the dancers who gave them a warm welcome.

West Indies will start their campaign with a practice game against Broad Presidents XI led by Karun Nair tomorrow at Vadodara. The game will be followed by a two-match test series starting next Thursday (October 4). The side had a very poor outing in the longer formats back in 2013 in Sachin”s farewell series.
A young West Indies side is all set to face India and it will be interesting if Shai Hope, the star of the test side can challenge the Indian spinners.
