Virat Kohli is a run chase once again batted at his best in the IPL. Against the Rajasthan Royals, the skipper of RCB showed his mastery and alongside Devdutt Padikkal put on an absolute show.

As usual, Kohli initially took his time but once found his timing never looked back. He played some of his vintage strokes from lofted extra cover drives to pull shots for boundaries in a chanceless knock. In the process, Kohli became the first batsman to scale the mountain of 6k runs in IPL history. Then when he reached fifty he won the hearts of everyone when he dedicated it to his baby girl.

After scoring his first 50 of IPL 2021, Kohli looked at the stands sent flying kisses, and did the baby celebration and dedicated to his baby girl. First, they restricted RR to a below-par total, and then it was all about the opening stand between Kohli and Padikkal.

They smashed the Royals bowlers to every part and chased down the target of 178 in the 17th over. Kohli remained unbeaten on 72 while Padikkal scored a memorable century and was not out on 101.
