Indian skipper Virat Kohli shares a special bond with MS Dhoni and are more like brothers. Over the years, Kohli has given the entire credit of his growth as an international cricketer entirely to the former Indian skipper. Kohli has also played some of his best cricket under Dhoni. He has been a part of three 50-over World Cups along with Dhoni and three T20 World Cup squads as well.

In an Instagram session, Virat Kohli shared his views on his bond with MS Dhoni over the years and how that is still intact. He was asked on Twitter to share his bond with the former Indian skipper in two words and he replied saying ‘trust and respect’.

Kohli named former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram when asked to pick one bowler from the past who would have troubled him. The Indian skipper also shared details of his daily diet and revealed he eats a lot of vegetables along with eggs, dal, and spinach among others.

“Lot of vegetables, some eggs, 2 cups of coffee, dal, quinoa, lots of spinach, love dosas too. But all in controlled quantities,” said Kohli.

The Indian skipper is currently quarantining in Mumbai with his Indian teammates. The Indian team will reach the UK for the WTC final and the subsequent England Test series on June 3. The five-match Test series against England starts from August 4. The final of WTC will be played between June 18-22.

Ahead of the WTC final, New Zealand will play two Test matches against England with the first Test at Lords from June 2-6 and the second Test in Edgbaston from June 10-14.

The Kiwi team will have to enter another bio-secure environment before the World Test Championship final from June 15 and will be subject to regular testing prior to and post-arrival in Southampton.
