Virat Kohli was remarkably upset with himself after he failed to capitalize his start against Sunrisers Hyderbad in Chennai. For the second match in a row in IPL 2021, Kohli was dismissed for 33 from 29 balls. It seemed Kohli is all set to accelerate against SRH but against the run of play got dismissed while playing a nothing shot against Jason Holder.
Virat Kohli Gets Frustrated After Getting Out Hits A Chair With His Bat
The fast bowler from West Indies banged a short of delivery with didn’t bounce and Kohli was looking to help it on its way over short fine leg. However, he could just top edge the delivery and he was caught at deep square leg and Holder once again dismissed Kohli. The RCB skipper was visibly upset after departing as he smashed the boundary cushions and a chair next to the RCB dugout with anger.
The RCB skipper was keen to accelerate but failed to do so for the second match in a row in IPL 2021. On a tricky wicket, Kohli was batting at his own pace but when Maxwell put the foot on the accelerator he too wanted to dominate the SRH bowling. Unfortunately, there’s was no conviction behind his awkward pull shot and he was removed by Holder who thoroughly enjoyed his wicket. Meanwhile, as he was heading to the pavilion, Kohli let his emotions all out and knocked a chair with his bat which stunned his RCB teammates who were sitting in the dugout.
