Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer frequently indulges in social media banter with former England captain Michael Vaughan. The two often troll each other on Twitter for some issue or the other. Recently, Michael Vaughan trolled the former India cricketer on his reappointment as the Punjab Kings batting coach for the 2023 Indian Premier League season. Jaffer has come up with a hilarious response to Vaughan’s tweet.

Trolling Wasim Jaffer after his appointment as the Punjab Kings batting coach, he tweeted, “Someone who got out to me is a batting coach !!!!!!!!!!!!.” Vaughan had dismissed Jaffer during the 2022 Lord’s test match. In the fourth innings, the Indian batter edged a ball to Nasser Hussain at slips, handing Michael Vaughan a Test wicket.

Reacting to Michael Vaughan’s tweet, Wasim Jaffer shared a popular Burnol meme.

Wasim Jaffer was a part of the Punjab Kings management as a batting coach for two years, under Anil Kumble. He resigned from the post before the 2022 Indian Premier League. For the 2023 Indian Premier League season, Jaffer will work with new head coach Trevor Bayliss.

Mayank led the team in the 2022 Indian Premier league edition. However, he was already replaced by the franchise for the 2023 season with Shikhar Dhawan. The team has also let go of Vaibhav Arora, Odean Smith, Benny Howell, Ishan Porel, Ansh Patel, Sandeep Sharma, Prerak Mankad, and Writtick Chatterjee in addition to Mayank.
