‘Lag Gye’ Wasim Jaffer Brutally Trolls Micheal Vaughan After He Picks Mumbai Indians To Win The Title Again

Wasim Jaffer and Micheal Vaughan in the last few months have several times taken a comical dig at each other on Twitter. It all began in the Test series between India and England when Vaughan will be trolled by Jaffer every time his predictions went wrong. Once Vaughan also responded and reminded Jaffer about the time he dismissed him during his Test career. The banter between the two former continues as ahead of IPL 2021, Jaffer again hilariously trolled Vaughan with a diverting meme.

Like every IPL season, Vaughan once again picked his favourites on Twitter and asserted that either defending champs Mumbai Indians will win the trophy again or Sunrisers Hyderabad will take the trophy home. After his tweet, several fans on other teams thanked Vaughan for jinxing the two sides as his predictions have hardly been correct in recent times.

“Early #IPL2021 prediction … @mipaltan will win it … if by some bizarre loss of form then @SunRisers will win it … #OnOn #India”, Vaughan tweeted on Thursday.

Meanwhile, as soon as Jaffer saw the tweet he made sure he once again had some fun with former England cricketer. Jaffer who is the batting coach of Punjab Kings posted an entertaining tweet that read ‘Lg Gye’ and indirectly thanked Vaughan for jinxing MI and SRH before the season. Last year Vaughan confidently had predicted that KKR will win the IPL but they failed to qualified even in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad on paper does look like very strong sides but anything can happen in a tournament like IPL where all teams are evenly balanced. Jaffer will be hoping that Punjab Kings stuns everyone and win their maiden IPL title this year and if that comes true he will surely again take a taunt at his ‘good friend’ Vaughan. The action on the field in IPL 2021 begins tomorrow when MI face RCB in the season opener in Chennai.
