The second ODI between Sri Lanka and Australia has been characterized by Mr. Adam Zampa’s spectacular catch, seeing Sri Lanka’s Nishan Madushka depart after an impressive run of 51.

It was during the 25th over when Dwarshuis unleashed a short-pitched delivery and attempted a hook shot with the ball going for a top edge, heading straight for Zampa at deep fine leg, who took the catch right on the boundary.

But the catch had a problem related to Zampa’s foot brushing against the boundary cushion completing the catch that urged on-field umpires to call for a review via TV. Upon clearance by the third umpire that it was indeed legit, Zampa was relieved and given out.

That will be a huge relief-winner catch, as it cut down an excellent partnership of 98 runs between Madushka and Kusal Mendis for Australia. Hence, Zampa’s possible brilliant fielding turned out to be the most vital one, as it really moved into the Australians.
