Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by five wickets in a close thrilling encounter at Brabourne Stadium in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. With this win, the Rajasthan franchise secured their top two position in points table.
After securing the Top 2 position in points table, a video of Rajasthan Royals team’s CEO Jack Lush McCrum is going viral on social media. The video is from the mega auctions of IPL 2022 where he is heard talking about the ambitions of Rajasthan Royals to finish in top two position and make it into the finals.
“As I said, we’re aiming to win the championship this year. We want to be finishing in the top 2 of the table and then we get a greater chance of making it through to the final and hopefully winning it. So top 2 is the aim and hopefully we will make the fans happy,” said RR CEO Lush McCrum.

Ravichandran Ashwin was the hero for Rajasthan Royals with both bat and ball. He also grabbed man of the match award for his brilliant knock. He played an impactful knock of 40 runs in 23 balls and finished the match for Rajasthan. He also bowled an economical spell while bowling.

Sanju Samson was a happy captain after this win. After a span of four years, Rajasthan Royals reached the playoffs of Indian Premier League. Samson in post match presentation said “Feels really good, it has been a standout. Almost everyone has stood out for us. It was important to understand they have quality batters. I didn’t expect to come back so strong, so well. It was a great effort.”
Ravichandran Ashwin too was delighted with his performance. He said “Feels like a million dollars. It was important that we won the game tonight. That’s quite a good finish to the group stage games. The communication was pretty clear before the tournament. I had to work on a lot of stuff. The team management was clear with my position. I know what my role is.”
