Virat Kohli has been in poor form in IPL 2022. Before this match, He had just 127 runs in nine matches in IPL 2022 at a strike rate below 125. These numbers are very poor for the standards which Virat has set.

RCB didn’t get a good start and lost the early wicket of Faf in the 2nd Over. Rajat Patidar took the initiative of attacking when Virat was playing safe. Patidar played an impactful knock of 52 runs in 32 balls which helped RCB post a total of 170 runs.
