Ace Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah pulled off a superb piece of bowling to remove Simon Harmer on Day 2 (Sunday, November 23) of the second Test against South Africa at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The breakthrough came off the very first ball of the 144th over in South Africa’s first innings.
Jasprit Bumrah bowled a length delivery that angled in towards off stump before straightening dramatically. Harmer, playing a touch inside the line, was caught off balance as the ball whisked past his outside edge and knocked over the off stump. You can watch the video here:

Senuran Muthusamy Ton Guides South Africa Beyond 450 In 2nd Test Innings
South Africa, after opting to bat in the second Test, ended Day 1 at 247/6 in 81.5 overs, with Senuran Muthusamy (25*) and Kyle Verreynne (1*) holding the innings together. Kuldeep Yadav stood out for India with three wickets. On Day 2, Muthusamy and Verreynne continued to resist, denying India any early success. The Proteas reached 316/6 after 111 overs at tea.
During the second session, Ravindra Jadeja finally broke India’s wicket drought by dismissing Verreynne for a gritty 45 off 122 balls, ending an 88-run partnership. Marco Jansen then joined Muthusamy, and the momentum shifted significantly as both batters scored freely and kept building pressure.
Muthusamy celebrated his maiden Test hundred, and together they piled on 97 runs off just 106 deliveries for the eighth wicket. Muthusamy was eventually dismissed for a superb 109 from 206 balls, hitting 10 fours and two sixes. Jansen continued his aggressive approach, bringing up his half-century and keeping the scoreboard ticking.
At the latest update, South Africa were 470/9 after 146 overs, with Jansen on 82 and Keshav Maharaj on 4.
