[Watch]- David Warner Pokes Fun At Hasan Ali By Copying His Celebration

David Warner is a true entertainer. The Aussie opener has formed a unique relationship with the fans in past few years. Both on and off the field, Warner does all he can to keep the audience interested. In the ongoing tour to Pakistan also, Warner’s funny side is on display.

On day 5 of the exciting Lahore Test, Warner was seen poking fun at Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali. Hasan, after taking a wicket, celebrates in an iconic manner (generator celebration). He crouches down and then gets up, opening his arms in joy.

In the last innings, Hasan was trying to save the match for Pakistan with the bat. However Nathan Lyon’s spin outfoxed him and he had to depart after scoring 13 runs. Warner, who was standing at Silly Point, spotted the perfect opportunity and imitated Hasan Ali’s celebration style to tease him.

Australia clinch Test series 1-0 against Pakistan

Meanwhile, Australia defeated Pakistan in the series-deciding 3rd Test by 115 runs. In the final innings, Nathan Lyon (5-83) and Pat Cummins (3-23) were the top performers for Australia. Usman Khawaja was named ‘Man of the Series’ for the way in which he batted throughout the series. Khawaja scored 496 runs at a mind-boggling average of 165.33 in five innings, including two centuries and two half-centuries.

With this victory, The Australian team maintained their unbeaten record in the current ICC World Test Championship cycle. Previously they had thrashed England by a margin of 4-0 in the 2021/22 Ashes series.

Pakistan and Australia will now face each other in 3 ODIs and 1 T20 international in Lahore. The matches will be held on March 29, 31, April 2 and 5. Australia will be missing a number of its first-choice players for the white-ball leg of the tour, since they have been rested. This is Australia’s first tour to Pakistan since 1998.
