[WATCH]- David Warner Spends Quality Time Playing With His Daughter

David Warner‘s eldest daughter joined him at a practice session for the Delhi Capitals (DC). The team’s official social media account shared a video capturing their unique bonding moment on the field.

In the video shared by DC, the veteran Australian cricketer’s daughter participated in light running drills and practised catching. She also took several swings as a right-handed batter.

Warner married Candice in 2015, and they have three daughters. After Warner’s implication in the ball-tampering scandal during the 2018 South Africa tour, his wife has publicly defended him on numerous occasions. Warner has also spoken openly about how the incident impacted their family.

DC currently holds the lowest position on the IPL 2024 points table

In terms of their performance in IPL 2024, DC has been below par. The team from Delhi has suffered four losses out of five matches. They started their campaign with a loss to the Punjab Kings, followed by another defeat against the Rajasthan Royals.

Despite a comeback victory against defending champions Chennai Super Kings, DC faced heavy losses against Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians in subsequent matches. David Warner’s performance has been worrying, with only 152 runs scored in five innings at an average of 31.60 and a strike rate of 142.34.

Delhi Capitals also have concerns regarding injuries to Mitchell Marsh and Kuldeep Yadav. Marsh’s hamstring injury will sideline him for at least another week, while there’s no set timeline for Kuldeep’s return.

Next, DC will face the Lucknow Super Giants in an away game on Friday, April 12th. It poses a significant challenge for Delhi as Lucknow, led by KL Rahul, enters the match with three consecutive wins against Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Gujarat Titans.
