[WATCH] Fan Asked To Remove Pakistan Jersey At Old Trafford Test

A fan who went to watch the fourth Test between England and India in Old Trafford, Manchester, was asked to take off his Pakistan cricket team shirt. The Lancashire Cricket directive was displeasing to the fan, and a video of the same has rocked the social media world and is taking the web by storm.

It is reported that a police officer engaged the fan in an argument, and a lady officer came in with an explanation of why he had to remove the shirt or switch to another one.

The fan, however, declined to do as instructed, and it is not clear whether he was detained or if he could watch the rest of the match. This event reveals the animosity between India and Pakistan, both on and off the cricket pitch.

Both countries have a sour relationship, as the Indian team last played a series in Pakistan more than a decade ago. Although the two teams have reached an agreement to play against each other in multinational tournaments, such as the Asia Cup 2025, fans have expressed concerns about the disposition.
