On Day 2 of the first Ashes Test match between England and Australia at Edgbaston on Saturday, Mooen Ali bowled an excellent delivery to dismiss Cameron Green.

It took a special delivery from the seasoned spinner to send Green packing for 38 because he appeared to be in dangerous form.

Fans and professionals alike were completely taken aback by Moeen Ali’s dismissal of Cameron Green.

The ball pitched quite far outside Green’s leg stump. But it then turned back inside, completely evading his defenses before crashing into his stumps.

The turn completely caught the batter off guard, and the stadium erupted in applause. Harbhajan Singh praised the unplayable delivery on Twitter.

Usman Khawaja led an Australia comeback in the opening Ashes match at Edgbaston on Saturday. He breaks a ten-year drought without scoring a first-ever Test century in England.

Australia was in trouble at 67-3 after Stuart Broad struck twice in two balls to dismiss David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne.

England captain Ben Stokes then claimed the prized wicket of star batsman Steve Smith, leaving Australia in trouble.

During the drawn 2019 Ashes in England, Warner was defeated once more by Broad. He had earlier reduced Australia to a score of 29-2. Warner was struck out seven times.

The left-hander chased a wide ball from Broad and inside edged into his stumps as he was on nine on a cloudy morning that favored England’s quicks.

Stokes’ bowling fitness had been questioned due to a long-standing left knee injury, but the vivacious all-rounder struck when he caught Smith with a nip-back ball.

Smith scored two centuries in Australia’s 251-run victory over South Africa in the Ashes opener at Edgbaston four years ago.

However, Khawaja and Travis Head put a stop to England’s progress with an 81-run fourth-wicket stand as the ball grew older and the batting conditions improved.

Moeen Ali was targeted by both left-handers, who each hit the recalled off-spinner for sixes on his Birmingham home field.

This was the bowler’s first Test in almost two years after he’retired’ from all red-ball cricket. But Stokes kept Moeen going in place of the injured Jack Leach.

His confidence was vindicated when Head was dismissed for a typically quick 50 off 63 deliveries after dragging a drive off Moeen to Zak Crawley at midwicket.

After Green and Khawaja had combined for 72 runs, Moeen eventually bowled Green for 38.

Alex Carey was dropped by Bairstow, who made a run-a-ball 78 on Friday. Carey had been selected as England’s wicketkeeper over Ben Foakes.
