UAE domestic cricketer Zohair Iqbal recently posted an Instagram reel featuring Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya. In the brief video, Hardik is seen having a playful moment with Iqbal. The Indian team has arrived in Dubai for the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Ahead of their first match against Bangladesh on February 20, the players put in intense practice sessions, with local cricketers assisting them. Zohair Iqbal, an emerging talent from the UAE, was one of the players helping Team India. After the session, Hardik filmed a short clip with him, which Zohair later shared on his Instagram.

The video posted by Zohair has garnered over 7,500 likes within 12 hours. Although Zohair has just 4,435 followers on the platform, the reel went viral due to Hardik’s widespread popularity.

As mentioned earlier, Zohair Iqbal assisted the Indian players with their practice sessions in Dubai, and it appears he specifically bowled to Hardik Pandya. In addition to the earlier reel, Zohair shared another post featuring Hardik, where the Indian all-rounder is seen hitting him powerfully.

Iqbal is currently competing in domestic cricket in the UAE. His Instagram bio mentions that he has participated in tournaments held in South Africa, Swaziland, and Australia.

It will be interesting to see if Iqbal earns a spot in the UAE national team soon. As for Hardik, the Mumbai Indians captain will take the field on February 20 for India’s match against Bangladesh in the 2025 Champions Trophy.
