Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar is set to make his return to the field for the International Masters League 2025. In preparation for the tournament, the legendary batter sharpened his skills with a net session.

Tendulkar will captain the India Masters team in the league’s inaugural edition. The tournament is set to commence on February 22, with the opening match featuring India Masters against Kumar Sangakkara-led Sri Lanka Masters at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

In the short video posted by IMLT20, Sachin Tendulkar is seen showcasing some of his signature shots, including the straight drive, flick, and cut. The clip has quickly gained traction on Instagram, amassing over 1,000 likes and attracting comments from 20 fans.

India Masters will headline the inaugural International Masters League, set to begin on February 22. The tournament will feature five other teams: Sri Lanka Masters, West Indies Masters, Australia Masters, England Masters, and South Africa Masters.

Each team will face the others once in the league stage, with the top four advancing to the semifinals. The matches will be held across three cities—Navi Mumbai, Baroda, and Raipur. Previously, Sachin Tendulkar captained India Legends to victory in the Road Safety World Series in both 2021 and 2022.

Alongside Sachin Tendulkar, the India Masters squad boasts star players like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, and Irfan Pathan. The tournament’s opening match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST on February 22.
