Even though her team lost the match, Harmanpreet Kaur was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’. She said in the post match presentation: “If you drop catches, you can’t plan against the batters. That didn’t help us. The way we started. we had to finish well. We were able to set a decent total but as I said you had to field well. The conditions were same throughout. If you keep giving easy runs, nothing can help you.”
The next match will be played on Thursday where Velocity will face the Trailblazers at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
